POSITION SUMMARY

Our clients Group is seeking an experienced Sales Manager, to lead and drive our clients business strategy in the Overseas Market in Cellular accessories. Managing and motivating sales teams with good communication, analytical and organisational skills are very key. This role requires experience built around strong distribution skills and/or direct/indirect channel development and leadership.  

The successful candidate will take on responsibility for developing and executing the overall strategy and all areas of the business influencing market performance Overseas. Duties will include overseeing budgeting, forecasting and demand planning for the market.

We are looking for a natural leader with high energy, passion, well developed management skills, drive and ambition.  You will oversee the in-house sales team and will manage both the operational running of the Sales team from a senior level and report directly to the Managing Director.

You will also be constantly evolving the creation and execution of plans for the mobile operator channel, marketing, sales, pre-sales, post-sales organisation and the mobile operator indirect channels, as well as focus on implementing best practices for both Enterprise and Retail business channels.

Reporting Relationships / Position in Structure: The role will report to the Managing Director

RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful candidate's responsibilities will include:

  • Development and execution of a successful sales penetration strategy for the designated market,
  • Building and developing successful business relationships with mobile operator partners in all areas of the business,
  • Identify, qualify, and close sales opportunities through intensive consultative selling techniques,
  • Provide support for sales/business development team in the formulation of strategic account plans to accelerate penetration of sales in the country marketplace,
  • Building and developing agreements to drive growth in new channels
  • Winning support internally within the organisation to exceed regional targets and objectives and ensure the salesmen  have the tools required for success,
  • Consistently delivering sales targets.
  • Setting sales quota for the sales/business development team and reviewing them regularly
  • Liaising with Purchasing/Product development frequently to ensure market demands

 ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Building and motivating successful sales teams/account teams/cross functional teams
  • Creating and driving aggressive sales plans, sales activity and revenue from a "zero market share" in short time frames.
  • Major account sales and channel partnerships
  • Must have an understanding of sales channels including enterprise, SME and consumer and have managed regional teams internationally 
  • Effective team management and motivational skills
  • Strong negotiation skills
